Different Images

Different images can be used in magazines which all say something different. For instance a close up shot makes the audience concerntrate on the main photo, this would probably be the main subject of the magazine or main story. A medium shot may also be used, this is when the image only shows the subjects upper half of the body, this then means that the upper half is in focus and should be very interesting for the audience to look at. This type of shot also means you will see more of a background therefore this will have to be interesting, and it will give us more of an idea as to what the subject is like. Another type of shot used is a long shot, this involves the whole of the body from head to toe. It also means that, like the medium shot, the background will be seen and will again have to be attractive.
